Paceña Centenario
Sitting at the foot of the Andes, Santa Cruz dominates a prosperous agricultural region and also houses the office of YPFB, the Bolivian national oil company. After days spent at YPFB my colligues usually enjoy a few well-earned Paceñas around the pool at the Hotel. Mellowing to our work, we would frequently salute the skills of the Bolivian brewers and nod in silent agreement with the signs around town proclaiming: Paceña Es Cerveza!
