Working in west China's Shanxi Province in January is hard business, but thankfully there are friendly people to banquet with and raise a glass of good beer. In Xuangang we toasted with Tsingtao, a fine brew imported from Qingdao in Shandong Provence. The label calls itself warm beer but believe me, we drank it cold.
